Mission
A Better Bedford PAC is a non-partisan organization committed to promoting opportunity, prosperity, and honest dialogue for all citizens of Shelbyville and Bedford County. We seek to support innovative and civic-minded candidates and elected leaders who are dedicated to constructive collaboration and partnership across all levels of government and the private sector. We strive to establish Shelbyville and Bedford County as examples of good governance for other communities across Tennessee while embodying ideals rooted in honesty, integrity, and visionary leadership.
EDUCATION
We support leaders who value public education and the critical role our local schools and teachers play in shaping the lives of our children.
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
We recognize the role that economic development and job creation play in fostering opportunity and advancement for every member of our community.
HOUSING
We will work to ensure residents of our community have varied housing options.

We believe a safe and vibrant community creates a secure environment for everyone and grows our individual and collective freedoms.
We value pragmatic and sensible approaches to governance. Compromise and collaboration are essential leadership skills that are often neglected in today’s political environment.
We pursue a solutions-driven approach to leadership. Voters deserve more than leaders who simply oppose initiatives without offering alternative approaches to problem-solving.
